In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Dear Friends

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

Alhamdulillah, this month marks the 4th anniversary of Friends of Charity International. As we reflect on these four years, we begin by thanking Allah SWT for allowing us to serve those in need and by sending peace and blessings upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), his noble family Ahl al-Bayt, and his righteous companions.

When we began this journey, our intention was to bring relief, dignity, and hope to vulnerable families. By the grace of Allah SWT and through your generosity, we have seen blessings unfold year after year. We are pleased to share that we have now surpassed 1,500 water hand pumps, bringing clean and safe water to countless communities. Each pump represents a lasting charity, a sadaqah jariyah that continues to benefit people long after it is installed.

This effort reminds us of the words attributed to the Prophet: “The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others.” Acts of service and kindness were deeply embodied by him and his noble family, Ahl al-Bayt, whose compassion and generosity remain shining examples for us all.

This year also marked the launch of our Income Generating Project. Through providing sewing machines and skills to women, we hope to offer families a path to independence and stability. Empowering a household aligns with Allah’s words in the Qur’an:
“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved all of humanity” (Qur’an 5:32)

Every opportunity we provide helps lift not just individuals but entire families and future generations.

Alongside these new steps, our ongoing projects, such as the Warm Winter Appeal, Feeding Friends in Need, and the Wheelchair Project, continue to support thousands of people with nourishment, warmth, and mobility. We pray Allah SWT accepts every effort, every intention and every act of kindness shown by our volunteers and supporters.

None of this would be possible without your prayers, your generosity and the blessings of Allah SWT. We ask Allah to place barakah in your lives, reward you abundantly and make this work a means of mercy for us all in this world and the next.
